Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Massage ™ (ATMAT)

The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy™ are inspired by the Mayan technique of abdominal massage. This massage is an external, non-invasive abdominal manipulation to guide organs into their proper position and improve the flow of nutrients to organs, and removal of toxins.

These massage techniques were developed by Dr. Rosita Arvigo who has lived in Central America for over 30 years where she apprenticed with Don Elijio Panti, a traditional Maya healer and shaman who worked with the New York Botanical garden to identify and classify over 500 medicinal Central American plants. The result is a healing technique that produces a holistic path to physical, emotional and spiritual health.

The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy™ address position and health of the pelvic and abdominal organs. The work is best known for the correction of the prolapsed, fallen, or tilted uterus and for the prevention and treatment of benign prostate enlargement in men, and for relief of many common urinary and digestive disorders.
